This site is a hobby/business that was borne out of a true desire to help other hobbyists and professionals around the world. The intent of the site is to be the "go to" place for information related to this field.

The site is maintained by one guy who has a full time job, so work is usually done at nights and on weekends.

The "owner" of the site really isn't important, though -- it's the membership here and the community that makes the place worthwhile. I encourage you to participate. Especially if you are a professional in this field, or a very experienced hobbyist or restoration expert. There's something about "paying it forward", or "giving back" to the younger guys starting out that can be very rewarding. Once you see someone post pictures of the project that they completed with help from the community here, you'll realize what that's all about.

Special thanks goes out to Matthew at Matthew's Volvo Site. Early on when I was thinking about purchasing AutoBody101.com I contacted Matthew for some hints about taking this site to the next level. His advice was invaluable, and (along with around 200 hours of education and programming ) resulted in the customization and integration of WordPress and phpBB3 that makes up the "engine" that drives all of the content here.
