Apparently the torque converter oil is slowly draining back into the pan and trying to find its way out. :knockout:

Then the ECM on the airbag controller went out - AGAIN! Dried checking and double checking grounds, connections and wire routing and couldn't find anything wrong. After talking with the manufacturer I had to pull the main wiring harness and toasted ECM to send back for testing.

Plan now is to do body work and get this thing ready for paint. Material order for primer, paint and clear was over $1000 and that was not for brand name top of the line material. Those prices were at a $1000+ just for the color.

I fought a Old 79 TA Turbo 350 leaking from every where before fix one leak another would start. Not sure but isnt there a Check valve that keeps oil from draining back out of Torq converter? Actually I believe it was a Part in the Valve body that did double duty as a check Valve. I would have to get into the overhaul study guides to find it again been a while since I read any of them.

Sorry to hear about electrical Gremlins doesn't sound like Fun at all.... Sounds like System is Staying Hot Powered up at all times ? Perhaps A Relay is missing? or Sticking ?

The Costs of Materials has continued its sky hi March for years now I would like to know when we can expect it to slow down a Bit.

Been a while since I updated anything on here so the run down:
- AccuAir Suspension has excellent Customer Service once you get a hold of them. They had me send in the second burned out ECU and the main harness. Turns out the main harness had a short in it so they replaced the ECU and the Harness. :goodjob:
- The transmission leak may be due to over filling it. The pan seems to be a little deeper than stock and so the dipstick may not be reading accurately. I will play around with that a little more later on.

I ordered the paint and sprayed the console with it. Here some photos of the progression on the console:
Started out with this blank molded piece.

Laid out the where I wanted everything and the did the cut outs:

Had to modify the driver's side to reduce the amount of flare at the firewall since it interfered with getting your foot on the gas pedal.

Here it is after paint and assembly:

Reworking the under dash wiring now, labeling everything and removing things as I prepare to begin prepping for paint.

Pulled the upper door panels out and they were in pretty rough shape.
One had a tear in the metal so I drilled a hole at the end of the crack:

Then welded and cleaned it up:

Tailgate needed some work. Someone had welded these barrel hinges to the tailgate and frame. Over the 5 years prior to the truck coming to me they had rusted solid.

Cut out the rust and installed cups in the bottom of each end for urethane bushings to be installed that will allow the gate to open and close properly. Also added hidden pin latches:

Color looks awesome. Bet it really shines in the sun. You can see a bit of peel in the clear, but that's going to cut-n-buff out fantastic.
