Okay I am going to give this video a try.
Took it with my iPhone so the sound isn't that great.

That's the exact build I wanna try some day, I would like to find a few more sets of 452 heads myself.

What compression do think you have? what kind of hp do you think your making?

Im thinking 550+ easy

I have a bone stock low mileage 69 440 with forged crank im playing with right now and maybe a 400 dunno yet need to find a few more sets of heads have a set of 906

PS
Was the weight worth it or whaaaaat?

That car is just plain BAD **** SIR!

Engine has 11:1 compression but I am at 4400' altitude so can get away with a little higher ratio.
The higher duration camshaft makes somewhat more friendly to premium pump gas.
Estimated the hp to be in the 500 - 550 range since the stock motor had 375 hp from the factory.

I'm still playing with the tuning right now and haven't got it just right. May need to get a stronger clutch set up though. Tried a hole shot and my clutch slipped real bad. Put a RAM heavy duty clutch and pressure plate assembly in with a brand new flywheel. Not happy that its slipping.

Love driving it. Turns heads everywhere I go.

Back a while ago a long while ago now days I used to have a 74 Pontiac 455 4speed I cant say for sure but I wanna say it was a center-force clutch I had put in it but it would slip under hard heavy acceleration but hear again it was from engine way north of 500 hp and north of 500 lb of torq as well. with that much power at hand your gonna have a hard time with any type of stock clutch hanging tough!
I had always wanted and needed a dual disk set up for that car, I have heard there is a new company making a more affordable dual disk set ups now days but I bet they still aint cheap.

It seems you make the jump from a $300 clutch assembly to an $800+ clutch assembly once you raise the torque levels. My car was built for the street so its monster torque for sure.
Dyno costs are out of this world so unless I can "tempt" the local college auto shop by driving in there one day - not much of a chance to see the actual figures.

If you can find a twin disk for 800 jump on it
