Good lookin work on this! You're installing a modular 4.6L in this right? How do you think it will compare to the original 5.5 v8 they put in these things? I always see people putting 350's and classic car big-blocks in their cars but I rarely see a transplant like this.

Thanks. The modular motors seem to be very reliable motors. Also good motors to mod if you want to go that route. I know that for a stock motor it sure sounds pretty sweet. I like the wide valve covers too, kinda hemi-like. Just wish I could drive the thing, but that ain't happening for a while.

Slow progress. This sinus infection or whatever I got is really slowing me down.

I brushed some ********** epoxy on the bare metal.

I rolled the edge on the bottom metal.

Nice work - I'm impressed with your fab skills - sorry about the sinuses - slows you down doesn't it ?

********** Epoxy is great stuff isn't it - I've just done my sandblasted frame in this and finished it off with ********** bedliner - another great product - both bullet proof - you're not getting any rust back there !

Thanks. I've seen others use the bedliner as well, looks really good. What vehicle are you working on?

Thanks for the kind words. I went to the doctor today and got some medicine so hopefully in a few days I'll be back at full steam. Do you have a thread started on your build? I love seeing pics of peoples progress, keeps me motivated.

I was able to finish the driver side cab corner. I'm pretty pleased, I didn't think I was going to be able to do it without buying a cab corner. I really am amazed at the skill level of some guys who can shape sheet metal. It's really something I would like to learn.
