I have to re spray the back of the cab and rockers, but almost have completed the painting process.

I have broken the painting up into many sections, and have seen the paint quality improve as I continued. The last spray finally was what I was looking for, factory paint without cut and buff. It is a shame that everything else has been cut and buffed. Of course, It will have to be done now to match.

Last Monday, I had a panic attack, I was in the shop working on the J10. I realized, I had no more parts to bolt on, I had completed the assembly! Three years, nine months, nine days since I started taking it apart.

I still have cutting and buffing to do, but it is too cold outside now. Tires go on Monday, bed liner and then troubleshoot.

No beauty shots, but this where I am now.

No door in the tent to get it out, LOL.

I still have work to do in regards to cutting and buffing, the paint is acceptable, but I can make it better. Better than factory.

Timbo, I would like to thank you and the others that have posted on this thread.

Your tips, suggestions, scoldings, (LOL)(the red primer) have all been an inspiration to me to complete this project to a level above.

I have suggested this site to anyone that is even thinking of painting their ride, because of what you all have done for me.

Thanks!
