Thanks Guys for the encouragement!! I wiped the body three times with
the Wax and Grease Remover, till the rags are clean. Then masked. Then
set up the booth. By then I was whipped and we had to meet friends for
a early dinner.

The plan for today is church then mask rear glass, wipe down and spray.

I'm impressed with the diy skills. I like that paper machine too. Where you from that you found these compressors for so cheap? I have been looking for months and only find stuff that's better for boat anchors for a lot of coin.

Thanks!! I've just been lucky with the compressors. I put put alot of feelers out
with friends.

Glad you got rid of the plastic sheeting your used for masking earlier.
Looks like you are in good shape now for the first step in an excellent paint job.

Looks like you may be spraying it on a bit heavy. That's what causes the craters with epoxy.
I shoot mine with a 1.4 tip and at the same settings as my base coat. 50% overlap minimum.

Used a 1.4 tip. i paused at that point :realmad:

So I sprayed the 2 coats of 2K!! Happy with it, have some honking runs, but those will block out.
