I just finished looking through this thread and noticed you have the same compressor as me. How did it work out for you? Car looks good!

Good job! Don't you love the feeling of accomplishment? Are you parking in the boonies when you go to the store?

Now think about how many hours you have into this car. Multiply that by say $40 (cheap I know) and you will understand why complete paint jobs cost so much.

Very nice work and the car looks great. :goodjob:

Fortunately, I have a company vehicle for work, and my own personal vehicle besides the talon. The talon is just a summer weekend warrior, but if I do take her to the store, yes I do park as far away from anyone else as possible!

Exactly, I didn't keep track of how many hours I spent on this project and honestly I don't want to know. My wife can probably tell you down to the min :rotfl: . Now all those 4k+ quotes seem really reasonable. Although the finish came out pretty nice straight from the gun, I still need to cut and buff her when the warm weather comes, and god knows how many hours and dollars I'll sink into that!

Made by diamond star motors- a Joint venture between Mitsubishi and Chrysler. That is absolutely a 4g63t.
