lol, spray booth is my shed, 7x9, 17cfm compressor, elcheapo retractable air hose, 8 twin fluros, a gas blower heater and a super cheap extractor fan with some 250mm flexible ducting, sweep and hose everything down, cover some stuff up with tarps, wet the floor and shoot some paint!!
its pretty hit and miss, when I did the shell a few months ago I only got maybe 4-6 bits of dust in the paint, this time there were maybe 30!!
a booth be awesome, but I don't paint very often so not really needed!!

ok, she is all finished, well as far as I'm going with the car, it still needs a few things, front drivers indicator, the brakes will need some attention and there are brand new front strut inserts ready to go in (while the new owner is doing the brakes they can pop them in while its all apart) andi t has a very small exhaust leak, other than that, its basically ready for rego inspection.

and it sold monday too, the 1st ppl that came to look at the car bought it, got everything else fixed the next day, got it passed and rego'd and then drove it to hobart that day, for every1 on here, hobart is around 300k's away or 190miles, basically from the top to the bottom of tassie, and it didnt miss a beat. it was a young couple and she will use it as a daily driver thanks for reading this build thread guys and the kind words krem |
