So i havent updated this thread in awhile. But i wet sanded the entire car to 600 grit.

On the 4th of july i was able to seal the jams, and shoot nason black single stage.

Im happy with how it turned out, it was an area i only scuffed originally and epoxied, didnt tape them off and shot the entire car with high build. After that i wet sanded the car, then just scuffed the jams.

I think i forgot to blow off the door jam after scuffing but either way the lower part will be covered up, or i may attempt to buff it out or what not.

Im happy with it.

Great Job!
Its a lot more work than people think but sure is rewarding when people ask, "Who did the paint?" and you can say, "I painted it myself." :goodjob:

Thanks guys, and thank you to everyone who helped!

Im worried about sanding out all the bugs and dust, it was like ever since the first coat bugs and dust, next coat bugs and dust, next coat bugs and dust.

I really hope i can get them out

Thanks man, i Haven't finished finish sanding the car yet. But it looks pretty nice from 10ft, get closer and you see I didn't sand out all the dust and stuff in the paint. BUT it looks good to me, I plan to finish sand it this next spring or summer.
