Back side of bumper was heavily rusted. So I scraped and sanded rust down and applied rust reformer. Also removed the rusty trailer hitch; I will get a frame mounted hitch later.

Painted silver area of bumper in the middle since area was rusty and scraped up. Installed and spent a lot of time aligning bumper. Took a lot of adjustment / trial and error to get the gap between bumper and tail gate even side to side.

Went out and put gas in the truck. First time its been driven in six months and its running good!

The truck is looking fantastic! You did a great job on it and should be proud. I really like the bumper sticker. :goodjob:

Thanks RT! I am happy with how it turned out especially for a first base/clear paint job. I certainly learned a lot which was one of the principle reasons for doing the project.

Special thanks to all the great info on this site, could not have got this done without it!

Thanks Nova. Go to http://www.billsgarage.info for more Cuda pics and videos. Below is the most recent pic with the original wheels back on it again.

I need to get the F150's cab cleaned up and wrap up some loose ends then I will post up some good pics of it in the sun.

By the way I am a big Nova fan, love your car.
