Some of you may know I bought my first project car a few years ago now. I haven't been able to devote the time I wanted to it but I am closing in on a final product.

The first day home December 2011

The car needed a bit of work, Miatas tend to rust out fast down near the ground and the rocker panels go first.

I had never welded before, luckily I have become much better at it

Finished product not half bad, couldn't tell I had welded metal in.

Then I decided, hell lets do the entire thing! I want to keep this car for a while so lets make it nice. So I began stripping the whole thing to refinish everything.

Black Trunk

Took the entire car apart, sub frame off, new stiffer bushings everywhere

Engine bay painted, don't ask me why I went grey, I thought it would be easier to find lost stuff in, should have gone black.. and why yes Charles, that is a turbo...zoom zoom

Did I mention I painted the WHOLE car to make it rust free?

Plus added some go fast parts

1/2 way through everything i decided I hate red...soooooo I already had done the engine bay and trunk, lets do the body BLUUUUUE.

Its been a a while now, the first year 2012-2013 I had it, I actually ran it and auto crossed it so the project has been Winter 2011 and now 2013-2014, I hope to have it on the road next spring.

Looks like a cool project - nice color change, too.

I hate ImageShack. Click on the pictures and they don't expand, open the link and you get an ImageShack page with no picture but links to itself. View picture and you get something the size of a postage stamp. :realmad:
