I have worked as a high end cabinet finisher so i am accustomed to shooting a finish with a binks hvlp gun off of a pressure pot. Just need to learn the differences! I have worked with rattle cans and airbrushing as well with car models and received awards for my finish. But again i know this is a different beast to learn. More in the prep here. The less fun part of it. Hoping to learn the process and teach my son and have some fun. Thanks. Jody. |
Always nice to see a father/son project
You should pick up on the painting quite easily with your background, worst part in a home setting tends to be dust and air flow. The paint is quite toxic (isocyanides) and without a good booth setup you get a lot more vapour hanging around then you want so ideally a fresh air system should be used. Good luck Rob
