Well I guess I can throw my hat in the ring on the projects section, pictures start from 2010. I began taking pictures AFTER both quarter panels were replaced and I'm kicking myself in the butt for that. Well here are some pictures of the progress starting in 2010-present

The picture above, I had to take the fenders off for some reason and begun to get them fitted before starting work
Image

They went back on and fitted like a charm

checking out the scoop

Cut off and patched front of hood so the cowl induction would sit nice and flat

scoop cut to bend and sit flat on hood
Image

Welded up the cuts and tacked the scoop to the hood

Scoop fully welded

Then there was a gap of pictures I can't find what camera I used, so basically a 4 year gap of pictures leading up to the 2k, so rather then complain, these pictures are up to date and last ones taken today.

Looking good.
It seems your working conditions have improved some as well.

Been a busy couple of weekends. Got to work on the hood a little each weekend.

Image

Got the hood off to block it, gonna smooth out firewall and jams for 2k after hood is done
Image

I knew this hood would be rough, I didn't completely follow through with the details of the blocking.
Image

Image

The edges are way too thick and looks terrible, what was I thinking....
Image

Cleaned up the edges and was very pleased to see the metal was very clean and the filler feathering better then I could ask for.
Image

Filler thickness is looking good
Image

Image

A couple of skim coats of putty, it blocked out just fine and now to correct the rest of my mistakes

Got the hood finished up and will be moving onto the jams next week.

Edges look much better.
Looks like you straightened the center body line as well.
Car is going to look pretty slick with that hood.

Haha, hey thanks. I couldn't afford a real booth so this one will basically cost me 1/5 of a typical booth that size (28'x14') and it folds up to only 7'wide.

I'm really workin hard to get this car done
