I'm presently working on a 66 Mustang coupe. I bought it in the summer of 2012 and have been picking at it since then. I had the 289 rebuilt to factory specs and have since picked up a 4 speed toploader, I have the original C4. I plan on doing the Shelby drop, adding a larger front sway bar, export brace, monte carlo bar, front disc brakes, dual exhaust and maybe swapping the original rear end gears 2.8 to something for highway driving. Originally tried to find a used WC T5, thought they would be a dime a dozen but not so. Anyway here it is as of today.

Got my car back on the rotisserie. Had to get rid of the cheap laquer primer on the bottom and get ready refinish with ********** oxide red.

Looks great.
Glad you are doing it right. 1968 Coronet R/T

Jealous of a few things here.
Great project. Wish I had space and a rotisserie to do this myself. HellaFab.ca
