Dave, tell me again what that product is. I have tried a number of spray chrome products and they just never come out looking that good.
If I remember correctly it takes special tools to apply?

i use the Cosmichrome master system. they offer smaller systems that turn out great work to. its the toughest thing i ever painted. the prep on this stuff has to be flawless or it will show big time.

Hey Dave
Can I ship you some Chrome Trim pieces from my 57 and have you paint them with that rather than trying to have them Re Chromed would it be much cheaper?
Some of my Pieces have a lot of pitting which is gonna be hard to repair if I went to a Chrome shop not to mention expensive.

Dave sounds like a Date to me gonna take me that long to get all the trim off I want done lol I am busy with other projects right now and I cant beat that price lol

Just wanna do trim around wing window Tail light lenses and some of the interior pieces such as the knobs and switches & such, The pieces that have some pitting. I will glass bead and dress out pitting probably use Muggy weld to fill pits. most arent bad just light corrosion from sitting (Pot metal pieces.)

The Trim is a combination of Chromed steel, Polished Stainless steel, Polished Aluminum, or Chromed Pot metal. all 4 are used on the car.
I'm gonna send the rest of the chrome bumpers and other steel pieces out for new chrome I figure im gonna need a second mortgage to do it all lol.
The Stainless and Anodized pieces I will re polish and send those pieces out that need
Re- Anodized, The Pot metal pieces will need special attention and perfect for your application I figure as I could use filler on them if needed.?

.
Still looking for window seals and felts door seals trunk seals and such
I wanna have that stuff on hand before I start on it.

Was thinking the grill would look cool in your Gold but then the side trim would need to be Gold too. and maybe the window trim front and back as well. but that would Gaudy I'm afraid.

If it didn't have this under the hood I would sell it off. It runs and drives.

You will need it all in a 2k primer and finished in 1000 grit. It is clear coated so about as strong as normal paint. I'll take some photos of the chrome out in the sun. It looks weird sometimes. I'll put some up tomorrow or Tuesday.

Dave please PM me your contact information to keep the business BS from cluttering up your thread.

I think this will be great on my smaller items though
