Small update, got the windshield installed and the headers installed. Changing the intake to an Edelbrock as well. Lots of little stuff like brake lines and stuff going on. As soon as we get it running the rest of the body panels will get installed and it's off to paint!

Got some more work done to the chevelle,

Put it back on to the hoist to install the exhaust and driveshaft, also finish off the brake and fuel lines and install the gas tank.

New radiator installed,

Inner fenders going on,

Front fenders,

And hood installed and aligned,

Removing the dash for restoration,

All cleaned and painted,

The gauges are installed and the wiring harness repaired from 48 years worth of bad judgments.

Got all 4 side marker lights cut out and working.

Using a laser level to get the proper placement of the fender badges,

Had to go to a 2 inch air filter to get adequate hood clearance,

Also have a 69 Pontiac Beaumont in for a body off resto,

It is amazing what some people do with automotive wiring. Most of the problems I have encountered were from stereo or under dash gauge installations. Many times they have mutilated the sheet metal in doors and rear decks as well trying to fit speakers in.

Yep, i've seen some nasty stuff from stereo installers lol!

69 Pontiac Beaumont is nice Rare car here in the states don't see many of those.
Funny How GM used Chevy engines in them over the Pontiac engine.

Yep, even up here in Canada some people turn there noses up thinking someone swapped a chevy into it. No, the chevy engine is factory lol!

Great job on the Chevelle!

I staggers my mind to see how much these things are selling for now days. Makes me wish I had kept of few of the ones I owned along the way.
