I been on a few trips Had to get out of town things were too crazy for me around here, went to another meeting in LA yesterday.

Doug's right about Q Jets, best carbs ever made! worth while getting one dialed in correctly.
Once its done its done and will last a life time! There not hard just got to pay attention to detail.

They dont know what to do with me.

There's only one problem with getting the quadrajet dialed in, it isn't one near as I can figure. I believe it's a Carter AFB, that would be the stock carb for that year.

Don't know what to do with you? How about listening to some of your ideas, give you a raise and send you back to work. Seems like the right thing to do :goodjob:

Rob, sorry I thought you had a Q Jet there. My 67 had a Q Jet and I bought it new so there was no switching done. :whoops: I have only rebuilt the Carter AFB never tuned one.

Dennis, You might become a hero or a marter. :flatten: I am sure that is what "they" are figuring out. All I know is i hope it ultimately goes well for you. I hope your union is backing you?

I could be wrong Doug, it looks like they used both for a while, I need to have a closer look at it.

Looks like your intake is for the Carter AFB. The Q jet has two large secondary holes and two small primary holes.
