Dennis, hope you got allot done. Glad you have a good secure job and hopefully enjoying it. Just hope you get some consistent time off soon.
Rob are you still dry walling. Hope you are done with all that and Bach with a little time on the Stang? I'm still fitting metal and waiting for the Fan Man to finish radiator. it needs to be lowered with big and littles. .

Well I'm mostly done with drywall, did the downstairs bathroon where the ceiling got mouldy from an upstairs leaky toilet and did most of the garage, need to move two big shelving units full of car parts to finish. That can wait. Painted everything too. Now I need to build a big work bench and sort out the enormous mess in the driveway from my garage and the neighbour who moved and needed help. I can't even physically get to the Stang because of all the crap now piled around it while I rebuid the garage. This garage thing has turned into a much longer nightmare than anticipated
That and we've had quite the heatwave so I'm not exactly full of energy. I have no idea how you guys can handle the heat. June is usually around 70 and fairly rainy, hasn't rained in 2 months and 85 to 90 everyday. Half the province is on fire, including several on my island. The air the last few days has been smokey with fine ash falling everywhere, pretty nasty. We have one of the world's largest water bombers sitting on a lake right beside an out of control fire but our Premier won't sign the contract with the company that owns it. She says there's cheaper ways to fight fires, instead she's asking other provinces and countrys to help out instead of using all of our own resources first, brilliant Rob

I wouldn't be able to do 7 days a week, that's rough even if you were to get paid OT. Hopefully a more reasonable job comes your way soon. You need to free up some time to work on your stuff.
It cooled off here mercifully, back down to low 70's. Looks like we had July in June and now we're getting June weather, weird. Rob

Hi Doug
Great Progress Ya I'm on Salary and no I don't like it, Im loosing a lot of money. Those are really pretty headers. Custom headers are ungodly expensive once those rod ends are welded down good that set up should work just fine. How did you get that metal so clean and rust pits cleaned out so good on your hood? The Lack of Paint on every thing has brought up a question are you getting every thing to fit properly and then tearing it back down for paint? Or are you going to paint every thing at once? Dennis B.

That's looking really good Doug, and how did you get that hood to clean up so nice? Looks brand new
I'm getting closer to finishing the clean up/reno, should be back to the Stang in a week or two. It's been nice to get away from it anyway, it was getting on my nerves so a fresh start should help. I hope you are at least getting straight time pay for the extra hours Dennis, not just a fixed amount no matter how many hours you work. Putting in an extra day or two for nothing every once in a while is somewhat tolerable, but 7 days a week non stop for nothing sure isn't. Rob
