Not yet. I am working on the cowl around the cowl vent and it is not going my way :realmad: :realmad: I just had to stop clean up and walk away before I started to take some short cuts that I am not willing to do. :splat: :splat:  I will let it sit for a while and then regroup and do it correctly :knockout: :knockout: Something like Dennis did on the black Ford fender around the headlight :allgood:
it needs to be lowered with big and littles. .

I heard that lol! I have had to walk away more than once.
Most time when I come back I have a different and better aspect of it.

Being frustrated doesn't make for good workmanship, good idea to walk away for a bit Doug :goodjob:

Hope you guys don't mind some more car pics, I figure they're good for inspiration

This is the nicest 70 Z I've ever seen, lazer straight and perfect paint. Amazing how different paint looks depending on angle with the sun.

Rob, thanks for the pictures as always you have some of the nicest cars up there on the "Island" :goodjob:

Something not quite right with the 37 sedan cant quite figure? Wheels, color, just not sure?

Considering the population of the island is well under a million we do have a lot of nice classic cars :goodjob:

I agree with you on that Doug, it's a very nice car but I don't think the wheels are helping it at all and the way the black is layed out just messes up an otherwise very nice paint job. I just try to throw in a humpback (or is it bustle back?) whenever I can to give you food for thought, good or bad :splat:

Really don't stop posting the old Chevys, it helps me with accomplishing the "look" I want.

I here them called "hump back" or "trunk back" or "turtle back" but not "bustle back" but that really works too. :goodjob: :goodjob: Glad fashions have got rid of those things I much prefer the more natural look of a woman in pants. . . :allgood:

Hi Rob
That's a 70-73 Trans am hard to tell from those shots, I have a 77-78 model BUT I am working on a deal for a 71 Firebird

Sorry no works been done on Plymouth to report did get a new windsheild installed in Intrepid have to go back to town to pick up the new hood I bought for it looks like I will be repainting roof on it along with new hood.

Things are kinda upside down still in my personal life currently but Im working hard to get them right side up

A 71 would be nice, I really like those early ones especially the big block ones

I haven't done anything to speak of on the stang lately :whoops: and we're going to the races this weekend so that won't help but it will be fun :goodjob:

I hope you get things sorted out Dennis, life is better when things are right side up :goodjob:

The races were fun but it was really hot so we packed it in after a couple hours.

The door slammers are the fastest we have, they run low to mid 7's on a good pass. They're a pro series type car mostly with glass shells like a funny car but some are steel. They get towed back to the pit after the run, usually with a golf cart but one guy who runs a 57 Chevy (it ran a 7.41) uses this oh so sweet bustle back, you'd love this one Doug. It took me a bit to figure out what the deal was with it having several batteries in the back until it occured to me that was his tow vehicle so he must charge the battery while he's towing it back :goodjob:

Just a few pics
