Hope you guys are making some progress, nothing but home repairs and renovation going on with me with no end in sight. :knockout: The good news is the housing market has gone totally nuts here so we should be able to make a nice buck when we sell the place this summer :goodjob:

Rob, just think one of these days all you will have to do is work in the shop and relax.    I know, will that day really come????????. mine should be that way but I don't think I have had one yet

Dennis, is the job still taking most of your time? I think you were making good progress on the cars? is all going well, hope so

Mine is still progressing but for every step forward one or two back. had body on frame for "final" fitting and after alignment (just a get it close one) I had to add 1/2" to the right rear fender. funny but I had that problem on the other side after the first fitting. :realmad: :realmad: so hopefully this will be the final fitting before paint but like i said one step forward . . . .etc. :knockout: :knockout:
it needs to be lowered with big and littles. .

Hey Doug
Work Work work is all I do go to work my Boss left the company and the VPM took over his spot then they laid off a bunch of people including the only other person in my department leaving me by myself so I have had to work 12 plus hr a day 6 days a week for past 6 weeks. So my 4-3 3-4 work and off days went out window and my project progress halted.

While I appreciate that they kept me over the other guy with more seniority they need to get some one else in there I cant keep working like this, My new Boss offered to take me in front of Owner to get a raise IF I will move into town closer to work. while I do need & want more money I don't want to move.

That's way to much and time for a big raise BUT this might be a sign they are having financial problems. If that's the case it might be in your interest to have a talk with the bosses and have something waiting for you when you help them through this crisis. Big bonus, some stock in the company. :goodjob: OK this is just me observing and adding in my un requested $.02 and its worth half that but I couldn't control myself :whoops: :whoops: I just hope it will all work out for you :bighug:

Doug
You are very perceptive yes they are in very hard times right now.
Most have left and fat a has been trimmed bankers and Court in final stages future very unclear. I agree with what your saying but timing is every thing. But like tonight I am at home waiting for papers so I can do my job after I worked 12+ hr......

No they need to step up my pay considerably and they know it

I hope the day does come soon Doug, just about ready to throw in the towel and sell the house as is where is and let the next guy fix and reno to their heart's content :knockout: :knockout:

We bought a nice little motor home so we have our own little home on wheels when we come down to visit family and friends without having to inconvenience anyone. We're ready to move NOW, tired of this nonsense.

Your work arrangement stinks Dennis, you haven't had much luck that way, when things get better they don't seem to stay that way. Hope things improve soon.

Went to a decent swap meet in Washington on the weekend, found a really good fender for the Stang so I'm pretty happy about that, the one I had for the right side was badly damaged so this is a huge upgrade.

Rob I know the feeling. we are still looking to downsize, which I have no problem with but the words "its needs a "little" rehab" keep coming up    Im just not into that anymore........ so the current house will be as is of course with "honeys" blessing  :worthy: :rotfl: Enjoy the motorhome

Dennis How is the job going, really hope things are tyrning around.

Im going thru the "final  fit and gap check" before paint. I'm finding a few things :flatten: :flatten: but going well, no prediction of paint day yet but I know its coming soon or near soon or in a short while or. . . . . :knockout:

Sounds like you're getting really close to paint Doug!! That will be a great day, can't wait to see it. Have you let us in on the color choice before? I don't seem to recall.
