Hey Rob
Sadly no I did not get that one, It had transmission problems the Owner was trying to cover up as I found out after I test drove another one here in los Angeles. I do like those cars though Very VERY Powerfull!!!! Both are Monsters very fast cars I also hunted for ZO6 Corvetts I missed out on several That I would have purchased but ended up being a day late getting to there locations others I was looking at were over priced in my opinion I was shopping with a Set price I was willing to pay for a Used ZO6 in certain years. The Jetta died on me altogether (No fault of its own long story) and I was forced to make a decision a week ago and I don't like being rushed to buy any car, Being rushed to find reliable wheels I settled on a much cheaper over looked Pontiac GTO with only 50,000 mile's on its clock. Its an 04 with some rare Purple color they only made a few of supposedly and its a Six speed so its fun to drive It has the same engine as the 98 Vett I bought a few weeks ago and I like the car ok enough it has power throughout and will get out of its own way and I bought it cheap enough with a warranty no less! I should have it paid off in short order. Then I can go back on the Hunt for another ZO6 (Wheres that Evil smile emotion smiley?) I sure wanted the ZO6 Corvette though sweet cars almost as Nice as the BMW and indefinably more fun to drive than the BMW and Parts are more affordable. I was shopping for 08-10 and a certain dollar amount I was willing to spend every time I would find one Dennis B.

The GTO would be a fun car and probaby a good deal, they lacked a bit in looks so I don't think they became a great hit despite the great power they make. A nice upgrade on the Jetta
Other than the continuing work on the shop and never ending unpacking/organizing I'm not doing much car related. I have decided to sell off some of my projects and just keep the 4 I want most so we'll see how that goes. Haven't heard from Doug in ages, the car should be close I woukld think? Rob

You've got almost as many as I have so I know the what the feeling of the urge to thin the heard is all about which four are you going to keep? I would hope the Buick is one of them?
My Roommate in California has a 64-65 she restored. Shes had it to several shows and has a few trophy's for her effort. No Haven't seen or heard from Doug in a while I don't have his address any more or his number or I would drop by his place and see what was going on. My weekends are pretty busy anyway commuting back and forth. Need to get some serious work on the Chevelle project Dennis B.

Yup, the 64 Riv is one of the keepers. Also the 65 drop top Stang I'm building for my wife, the 51 Chev streetrod pickup I started a long time ago and my 59 Triumph TR3 that I've had for 40 years. All of them except the Riv are full frame off restos so that will take a while. The Riv I'm just going to do body and paint and a bit of interior work, already rebuilt the motor.
You'll have to post some pics of the Chevelle build as you progress. Hope Doug is alright Rob
