That sounds nasty, hope you get over that soon Dennis.

We're heading off again but I think when we get back we'll be home for a week or more, hopefully I can get in a bit of car time. I will have 3 cars in pieces to haul up there when the time comes and numerous extra motors, trans, etc., a bit of a pain.

Glad you are feeling better Dennis, I went thru that myself in fact I had it when we were in Las Vegas in January to see "Love" again its still a great show    . We brought some friends that haven't seen the show and they loved it even though he is not a fan of the Beatles

Rob, I bet you are really looking forward to being fully moved to your new home. until then it will be a pain in the
it needs to be lowered with big and littles. .

Yes it will be nice to be in just the one place but there's still a lot to do at both places. The garage and shop aren't finished, either is the house for that matter but it's at least close. I have 5000 feet of cedar siding to put up, can't wait for that :knockout: :knockout:

I have to build a railing around the deck here and do some drywall work in the basement for starters. All sorts of little pain in the butt jobs, really can't wait to get the old house done and ready to sell. I did pick away a bit at the Stang finally, pretty sure I'll be painting it at the other house

Rob, that really sounds like way to much work :splat: :splat: a man of your wealth should just write the check and it will be done :goodjob: :rotfl:

Dennis we need a update on the Pontiac, or the current project.

I am cleaning up the parts that I forgot have to be painted like headlight buckets and rims, taillights license plate bracket etc. etc. :flatten:  had to fit some halogen headlights with built in turn indicators but was just another "drop in" that required about 5 hours of engineering. I did get some very nice help from Joel at Headwins where I bought the headlights  I am also selling my next project, the 39 Chevy coupe, to get some money to finish this one   but sometimes you just have to do things you don't like :realmad: "Buy high and sell low" that's my current motto :knockout: :knockout: :splat:

It would be nice to just pay someone Doug but I can't justify it, my pockets aren't quite as deep as the Donald's  It needs to be pre-stained before putting it up so I enquired about that, about $6000 to do it, are you freakin kidding me :splat: :splat: I don't even want to think about what it would cost to install, probably another 10K. I can't justify paying that kind of money to do something I can readily do, I may be stupid but I'm not crazy :goodjob:

Sorry to hear the 39 is going to go, sounded like another very cool ride. How's the 38 coming? Must be getting pretty close to the final steps before paint prep

Hey Guy's
UH I been workin a lot and been LAZY a LOT and Calvin keeps the shop a mess these days with his Mustang junk, Today is no different.

I did do a custom Grill on a 2014 Challenger looks ok I thought but the pictures I took in the shop don't give it justice need to get it back over to take some pictures out side in day light.

Also took two Tremec World class 5 speeds apart to build one good one for Calvins mustang sory didn't get any pictures of it.
I like doing transmission work wish I had more of the specialized tooling for it. I could see specializing in a few different models though.

That looks pretty cool Dennis, pics are a bit dark but I like what I see.

We just got back from the other place, things are coming together up there faster than they are down here. I don't know how I'm going to pull this move off in the next 3 - 5 months as intended, so freakin much work to do in both places :splat: :splat: :splat: :splat:

I have done a fair bit of research on the new booth build so I'm pretty excited about that part of the project coming together!

Doug doesn't really sound like fun moving and all I HATE moving every bit as much as I hate looking for new Job's BUT when its what you wanna do it makes moving easier I guess.

Projects:

Firebrd progress is slow having to do repairs where I am not sure how and what to do slows me down and weekends are short but I am making progress between Beers.

Plymouth The Plymouth has been shot with Glass now and all the red is back off of it and down to Epoxy again as of last night gonna start vacuuming it out today and then start feathering out left over Epoxy getting it ready to go back in the Paint booth for another coat of Epoxy then we can scuff it and apply regular primmer and start sanding again.
Get this thing done and back on track to completion.
