So any word from the engine builder?
Does he say Im full of **** or what ?

I still been busy with Home stuff nothing going on with the cars although the big local car show is Saturday the one I missed by a few days last year when I got the Ford done. I need to get it washed and waxed to put in the show and I dont even know if I will get that done or not.

 :flatten:

He said it wasn't on there long, didn't have much weight on it, the crank is bolted down with all the mains, blah, blah, blah, nothing to worry about. Then I talked to another builder I know and he said he had his propped up with a 2x4 under the snout for a year and had no issues at all and he races it as well. I hear what you're saying Dennis so don't think I don't believe you, I value your opinion more than most anyone else. The bottom line is if it sounds like a bag of broken doorknobs when he fires it up, he's on the hook for it so I'm not going to sweat it.

I've been cleaning up and painting brackets, pulleys, etc.

It would be nice if you could get the Ferd into some shows, best way to sell it is if people see it in person. :goodjob:

The bottom line is if it sounds like a bag of broken doorknobs when he fires it .......LOL!! Rob I sure hope it doesn't.

I respect Dennis too. He has extremely interesting input. How many RPM do those rotax plane engines turn on top end and cruising typically?

I remember when my uncle got me a VHS from his base. Coolest thing ever. Pretty much GE's advertisement for the military about their minigun system.

Helicopter comes over ridge, all you hear is what kinda sounds like an electric saw but...MORE. And it cuts back to the camera that was just before looking at one of those old box vans. Nothing left but bits of the frame. Cut to GE logo and some guy saying "GE - We bring good things to life"

I also have a few VHSs of some helicopters and planes that they tried out but never went with, like the AH-56 Cheyenne. Hybrid helicopter/plane. Cool stuff.
