Well I took the Ford to the car show after work Sat sorry I forgot my camera I was nervous wreck and after the Hood wouldn't open I freaked out and left the car there with Calvin and Skip.

Hood never did come open they made several announcements asking me too
I tried I really did But it was like my father was sitting on the hood sang NO so I let it go.

In the end I just left with the car I didn't even wait for them to announce the winners, I was up against a 37 Buick a late 60's Pontiac a really nice Thunder bird and a Killer 58 Impala convertible There was one other really nice car too but I forgot what it was.

The rest were all customs hundreds of them but I wasn't in there class. again sorry I forgot my camera.

Dennis, saw a news slot saying you and US Air were merging. Will that impact you job or retirement?

After my trip I have worked a few hours on the deck lid and should have it straight, fit and primer ready this weekend.   I will still have a little work on the inside to do but I am making some progress. :knockout: :knockout:

One more. I bought one of these and of course got no ones opinion before I did. :whoops: :whoops:
http://www.eastwood.com/adjustable-flex ... -inch.html
Now have any of you guys used one? I have all sorts of curved panels that have some one's A $$ prints in them and having to go to a lot of work to get rid of them. :knockout: :knockout: :knockout: Will this help, it seemed logical to me? I know I still have to work the dents with the stud puller and shrinking disk but the little flat spots that need filling just need some rounding and with the long boards (15" & 9") I am using, it is tricky but doable so I am hoping this will make things a little easier and have a few less passes with the plastic filler?

The Ferd got 2nd place, that's awesome Dennis :goodjob:

I've nver used one Doug but it sure looks like it should work in principle. I'm not looking forward to sanding curvy fenders when I finally get to the 51 pickup :knockout: :knockout:

Hi Doug
I seen a couple right ups on those blocks a couple years ago guys who had bought them liked them I have never used one so I cant say, Just looks too soft to me though. But again I have never held one so I dont know.

I used a diffrent brand on the Ford, and If I had to suggest a brand to use it would be the Yellow ones from 3M.

Thanks for the response. It arrived last night and not sure it will help. :splat: It is very stiff even with the rods removed, so the tight curves are still allot of work. :knockout: :knockout: I might just return it and go for the 3M ones Dennis recommended. They are much more reasonably priced and for what I spent I could get a set of the three 3Ms.

Fired or was there a layoff? In a layoff you get severance and unemployment (this is a question not a statement)? Or did you tell the boss to LB. SAND   :flatten: either way I am very sorry
