We have a 99 Ford Contour and someone backed into it in a store parking lot and made about a 6" actual hole in the corner of the bumper. Is it feasible to repair it. If it was fiberglass I wouldn't have a problem but I don't have any experience working with plastic. I don't know what would adhere to it.

If there was a piece that got punched out that you retrieved, yeah you could plastic weld it and repair it with plastic epoxy for bumpers. Sometimes it's easier and better to try to get a clean bumper cover from a salvage yard.

Thanks Chris, I had my doubts if that was a good idea to repair. It's not one piece that has come out but crumbled into may pieces. I talked to my paint supplier yesterday and they had a kit he thought poorly of for 60 bucks which maybe would work but I'm not likely to spend 60 bucks on maybe. I may just glue some fiberglass webbing over the hole and bondo it until I can find a replacement at the junk yard.
