Hey guys, someone just hit my rear bumper.

It now has a 3/16" wide by 2.5" long mark, which to me seems like a primer scratch. Is it?
I can definitely feel a difference of layers between the paint and the mark.
The brown marks actually went away by washing them with soap.

I would like to repair it myself, is there any way to do it easily?

Thank you!

I am really not one to give advice but as a beginner I would think the area will need to be repainted and recleared. You could try touchup paint from the factory but it will always look....touched up. For an area that size, if you don't already own the proper equipment it might just be better and cheaper to let a shop do it. I had to buy all the equipment to start my project and it is not cheap....just my 1 cent since I don't know enough to offer 2 cents.....I will let the experts guide you.
Give a man a brush, and he will paint a Picasso.
Give a man a spray gun, and the wife better hide the car.

His ^^^ 1c is worth 2c. Spot on. It's a bit big to try to touch up by brush and that colour will never match anyway. Cheaper and easier to get a shop to do it.
