I am doing a couple of small repairs on motorcycle fenders and would prefer not to have to strip the whole part down to bare plastic. One is a scratch about 1.5" long and is down into the plastic. The other two are areas about 2"X.5" where the OEM finish has been rubbed mostly off. Otherwise the OEM finish is in decent shape.
First, do I need adhesion promoter for small repairs or can I go straight over with epoxy primer? If this is a go, what epoxy primer would you suggest?
If I need the adhesion promoter, is there one that will not damage the surrounding OEM finish (or is less likely to)?
Thanks!!!

Reading the data sheet for ********** epoxy primer it says...
"Use this epoxy on bare fiberglass or SMC before applying body fillers or 2K primers for best long-term results." Are they saying you can used on some plastics without adhesion promoter? |
