Wow its been a while but it was a crazy year. And how the heck did it go by so fast? Last time I knew, i was killing myself getting a car ready for SEMA Show, finishing a painting tech book, and trying to get on a TV show. Well the car made it to SEMA and I did get on the TV show. That show turned out to be Motor City Masters and I made through 3 episodes before I was eliminated. And I did finish the book," Automotive Painting, From Prep to Final Coat." How's that for a snazzy title?
After the show and book, I needed some time off. Well actually I needed to get caught up with all the paint work that was left waiting while I did those other things. :knockout:

Other than that, I've been putting out some cool paint work and working close to normal hours, writing my column for Performance and Hot Rod Business magazine, doing my SEMA work, and taking plenty of time for friends and family. I'm going to be stopping by here more often and taking the time to help out and post pictures.
Other than that, these last two weeks before SEMA Show feel the way my life usually feels, slammed full against the wall. Leaving on Monday morning to travel to VA to airbrush trim on a 67 Impala wagon, then come home and get ready for SEMA Show. But first I'm taking a weekend off to spend with my family. That is very rare, I haven't taken a fall weekend off work since 2010.

Thanks for stopping by Joann. I was a little worried about you but figured you were really busy. That car looks fantastic, and I love the way the flames 'shoot off' - very nice touch.

Enjoy your time off 8)
