Hi everyone,
I just bought an iwata supernova ws400 evo 1.3HD Base which was an incredible bargain. I was actually looking for a clear gun but when arriving I saw it was a base gun.
Anyways, it has a 1.3 HD tip.
My question, what is the difference between the base and clear version? Or is there none?
I saw this add on ebay stating that there is no difference except for the stamping?
On other websites I read that the gold cap is for base, silver for clear, but no technical info..
Thanks for the help.
Difference iwata supernova ws400 clear vs base?

Painterdave, after researching some more and checking I've found out the ws400 clear and base are identical.
I checked the catalogue and all the parts are the same for clear and base. But the ls400 is different, it has different caps and as far as my research goes it should be something with the drilling in the caps which gives finer atomization and a wider spray pattern. I put my question on another forum as well and they confirmed. So this bargain couldn't be any better!!!!!! |
cool thank you for the update !
