There is two ways to look at that - (1) it may have unfortunately been sold to someone else, or (2) you're better off without that one because there is a lot better deal coming on another one.

Anytime I miss out on something like that I think " Oh well, I guess I wasn't meant to have it, and something better is coming down the road".

Eh, not around here. Everyone wants new price for their used/broken things. For example, 85 fiero, rod knocking and didn't look all that great, asking 1600 (what it's worth with a good engine) 93 ranger reg cab short bed 4cyl 5spd tboned and passenger door won't open $2000


Although I did find a 66 f100 with the 6 cyl, runs and drives for only $400. Which is why I need a bigger compressor lol. Mine was too small to use air tools let alone spray paint. And I've started getting water in my line even though I have a separator...
