Its been 20 yrs since my last full paint job which was lacquer.Can I still use my binks 7 & develbis mbc guns with todays catilized base & clears? Any tips or suggestions on air pressure & fan with.

You sure can; the gun doesn't know what type of material is in it ;-)

Just as long as you get it to atomize correctly you'll be fine. Those guns tend to run at >40PSI at the handle. You are going to have a serious dust cloud around you so make sure you have good (great) ventilation and use proper breathing safety precautions.

so thats the down side of using the old style guns.I think I will start shopping for a new style gun.that cloud would be expensive paint.

Dog,,,make sure you have the right fluid tip in the gun. Back then we used a 1.6 a lot. Thats to big for BC/CC.

You need a 1.4
