I have this high end mixing board: http://www.harborfreight.com/mixing-board-98967.html

What's the best way to clean it after the filler has set. I don't want to have to spend another $8.99.

Blowtorch and scraper. Or, just use pieces of cardboard like the rest of us peasants :-)

I use the U-pol Onion Board. When done you tear the sheet off and throw it away.

I just use a elcheapo kitchen cutting board, a 3 pack cost me $7 I think, I put a skim coat of filler over the top to smooth in the little dimples it had on it, and each time I use it now I just scrape off the leftovers while its wet, or if it hardens I just sand it smooth again!!

Aluminium mixing board. Sanding will scratch it. Just use a tissue soaked in a little thinner to clean it before the filler sets hard.

I use an old kitchen cutting board and just cover it in wax paper or aluminum foil.

I use card board covered in clear "shipping" tape (you know, the wide clear tape you use to tape up a box). The tape is very smooth and great for mixing. I use it once throw it away. Cheap and effective.
