Temps are dipping below 65 here and rather than rush bodywork to spray epoxy I figured I would invest in a propane heater for the garage. I'm just not sure what style would be best to heat a three car garage with a temporary booth taking up two of the stalls. Trash can style or Torpedo?

1.) Trash Can style:

2.) Torpedo style:

I would get a torpedo type. They heat up fast. Make sure to turn it off while spraying. Once the overspray clears it can be started again. Don't want to blow your house up.

I have a torpedo style (155,000 btu) that works well to heat up large spaces.
Recently bought one of these: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/ ... _200395481 to heat the booth with and it works really well.
