Anybody here experienced in paint booth design?

I have noticed on many booth designs that the upper corners of the ceiling and walls are angled about 45 degrees. Is this to improve airflow or is it to mount the lights at a more efficient angle?

I built my booth a while ago (do a search for Homemade Paint Booth) and have learned a few things since.

To answer your question: the angled walls help reduce turbulence and increase lighting efficiency.

The airflow in my booth needs to be redesigned. I need more CFM to change out the air in the booth at least once every 2 minutes. Also, larger filter bank to allow a "wall" of air to move from one end of the booth to the other. This with the addition of angled walls should greatly reduce the turbulence I get now.
