So I bought a new unused Sicmo form craigslist for my Fuji Q4 for $140, it came with a 1.4 standard tip. My question is which Needle, Nozzle and Aircap would you recommend for a Clear coat and how about basecoat. My main goal is to achieve the least amount of orange peel in the clear when I spray it. Basecoat is also important, can I just get away with what I have now? Can I get away with just a new fine finish multi-hole aircap in .7 or .1.0? or do I need to buy a 1.0 needle, nozzle and and aircap. Thanks for any info you can provide, I know you are like the turbine master around here. Which would you recommend of the website below? Also here are some pics.

Well, first do this.... don't buy anything. Get some base coats, urethane clears, etc., from your paint jobber (they usually have closeout or mismatch small cans) and see how things spray with what you've got. Guys are always in a hurry to switch out the standard gun set up and although experimenting can yield improvements you have to establish some baselines for what paints you are going to be using. I won't kid you here, the multi-hole laser drilled air caps are "better" but may not make that big of a difference depending on what clear coats you choose. I think **********'s universal clear, for instance, could be shot out of a garden hose and still lay down pretty good while something like PPG's 2021 needs a little finessing right in the mix reduction.
I'm quite familiar with both American Turbine and Kwick Kleen ( I consider Dave White, the CEO there a good friend) and would say Kwick Kleen would be my first stop when looking for parts. Dave even runs sales on caps sometimes.
Oh, and me, not so much a turbine master, more like a turbine survivor. I was pushing these systems back in the stone age 34 years ago..... waiting for others to see their virtues.
