Hey guys! I'm looking to get a DA sander to start dry sanding at my work place I paint 3 cars minimum a day and i usually wet sand them. I am wondering what da should I get? I was looking at the 3m ones and there are so many to choose from. I see that they have a 6 in with a 5/16 orbit or a 3/16 orbit. I will be using it for preping my blend panels with most probably 800 and 400 over the primer. I might also use it for wet sanding 1500. Any information is great!!! Thank you!

Most brands that make DA's make good ones to be honest. Dynabrade, 3m. Ingersoll, Hutchins,'Etc you'd be looking for. 3/16" orbit because it's sands finer then the 3/32. Oh and 6" is the most common for sanding paper discs

I think you got that backwards.

(It's not custom painting-it's custom sanding)
