I wonder if anyone knows what the sander is at the :40 second (and later) mark in this video? It appears to be 3" or even less.

It's also used at the 1:00 mark in this one:

Thanks!

The bigger machine is definitely Festool. Pretty sure the little one is, too.

Seriously good gear.

Second one looks like normal size palm sander with a 2"or 3"" disk on it.

These are nice though, smaller yet check it out orbital too.

I have a small workquip sander, it came in a kit called paint rectification kit, it has 38mm and 75mm Velcro backers, also came with sanding discs and buffing/polishing pads, can also put a 150mm backer on it for bigger polishing or sanding, has a tiny orbit and works pretty good,
think the kit costs around $200au

Me too!

Thanks for all the replies. Coming from the woodworking world, I spotted the Festool buffer right away but somehow that little sander didn't look like theirs. Now that I see the models on the link Chris provided, I think he's right. Unfortunately that model doesn't appear to be available in the U.S. Not that I would've run out and dropped 4 bills on a sander, for my use.

Krem, that Workquip setup is interesting.

Thanks again.
Mike
