Greetings from Down Under!
I'm seeking comments from people who have & use rotisseries as I'm about to buy one.
Firstly, am I correct in assuming that the 2 pairs of "horns" that attach to the car must be IN THE SAME PLANE? So, in my case (a 1970 Peugeot 404 pick-up) where the best front founts are well below the best rears, I should keep the horns in the same plane then fabricate the connections with offsets. Only then should I look for the rotational centre of gravity.
The best ones have infinite adjustment to find the sweet spot:

The more economical ones have holes 50-75mm (sorry 2-3") apart:

Are people Ok with the coarser adjustment?
Thanks!

Howdy
I have one similar to the E-bay one you are looking at. I figure I am only going to do one car so I was not picky. I have not put my car on it yet but by looking at it I feel it will do the job just fine. I like the positive lock idea. |
