First post here. I am looking at the finishline 4 set with 3 tips for my first gun, thanks to the great input some of you have shared about it. I have a 60 gallon red husky compressor that runs air tools very well. I want to spray epoxy, using a vaper gun, then spray regular primer and base with the finishline. Will this compressor supply enough air for the finishline gun?
thanks
Wagon
Will this compressor work w the finishline 4?

Wagon we need to know the CFM output of the compressor at a stated PSI.
That gun uses a LOT of air... |

Here are the specs:
11.8 @ 40psi 10.3 @ 90psi 135 PSI MAX 3.2 HP Thanks |
We like to see at least 20% headroom on CFM so the compressor isn't running constantly. If doing an overall job you may be generating a lot of moist air with that comp/gun combination. You might sneak by with it but you will need a very good game plan on removing water from the air supply.
That gun calls for 13CFM at around 25PSI. |

Do you have any recommendations of a spraygun that will work well with my compressor?

Sorry for the delay; one of my other web properties suddenly became very needy.
Anyway, what you want to look for is a RP gun. I used to carry the DeVilbiss "Plus" gun here; excellent for new/occasional painters and lighter on the air addiction than an HVLP gun. Look into it, I think you would be happy with that gun. |
