Which compressor would you choose? General use, occasional painting. I have an flg4.

This one looks to be a CFM powerhouse.

And this one I found a lightly used, 1 year old for $850

If you trust the used IR it's probably a better unit. Risk of no warranty....

I recently bought a new compressor and I did look at a number of compressors including the Puma.
I don't have any first hand knowledge of this compressor but it shares that same three cylinder pump with a lot of other brands. While there are a lot positive reviews, I also saw a significant percentage of reviewers who had problems with that pump. Enough to make up my mind not to get a compressor with that pump.
Do your own research but I agree with Chris that the IR, even if used may well last much longer.
