Been looking over this site. I'm looking to restore a 55 Chevy pickup. I plan to do all the body work excluding paint. Seems the more I read the less I know. What are some air tools that I will need and some respectable brands. This will probably be the only restoration project I do for now. May do another down the road. I won't need the highest quality but I don't want one that will break when I take it out of the box. I want to get a list of tools made so I know what size compressor I need to get. Trying to figure out how many cfm I need.

Been looking at this one. Will this one suffice for a hobby compressor?

that will power your air tools easily, most need no more than 4-5cfm
that will supply most if not almost all hvlp guns easily. air sanders are pretty robust even then cheap ones... obviously pick a gun that is cheap yet good if you're only doing the odd job, this site sells ones that are highly recommended. |
