Evening all,

After searching for a bit, I haven't found exactly what i was hoping for.
I am a total beginner. I have an old 1 1/2HP Kellogg American 60 gallon compressor that do about 6 to 7 cfm at about 30psi. I need a few suggestions for some guns that will not break my bank. I have no intentions of painting car after car after car. Mostly motorcycle gas tanks and frames. Might try my wifes faded pealing Corolla sometime in the future. But for the present, tanks and frames.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sid

Look for a low volume mini-gun. Full sized guns will not work with that compressor.

Thank you.

I honestly do not know about that gun; the text states that it only sips 4CFM of air but it also says HVLP, which by nature goes against that low air theory.

If you get a sense that they are being truthful and it's a good performing gun then it's probably a safe choice. The reviews aren't awful.

For not a lot of money you could try this one:

I recently used this gun to paint a snow blower. I love this gun. Build quality is what you would expect from HF, My only negative comment is that the pattern adjustment doesn't have a great deal of affect. It won't adjust from a circle to a wide fan. It stays more circle.

I have a Tekna and a Plus gun. I love them to for large jobs. (Stated just for reference, don't think I am suggesting a full size gun)
