Hi guys,

I am new here, but was wondering if anyone has any experience with this gun? I actually just bought it but am able to return if it's no good. I have seen a lot of stuff for the Astro LVLP but none on this one. Thanks for the help.

It's a great gun, as most STAR gun's are. But, it isn't a L.V gun. It uses 13.5 CFM @ 22 psi.

Its a great gun, but it's still an air hog.

That doesn't mean you'll get bad finished, but you need a big compressor to achieve those "glass" like clear application. A 5 HP 80 gal will not keep up with high flow fittings.

Go for a compliant spray (RP) gun like STAR's SMV or SMP models.
