Evening all,

I am going to take a stab at plumbing the garage this weekend. It seems that the ports on my manifold coming off the compressor are 1/2". the gauge port is 1/4". Should I buy everything 1/2" all the way to the end? Then hook my 3/8" hose and gun fittings to that? I mean a water trap/filter and regulator with 1/2" ports and 1/2" black pipe? Then like I said, my hose is 3/8" with all my gun and tool fittings 3/8". Will stepping down to 3/8" at the end hurt anything or mess with my flow for my HVLP do you think?
Can anyone suggest a proper regulator and decent make?

Thanks

Sid

Running 1/2 to the end, then steeping down to 3/8 shouldn't affect the performance of your gun.
Many companies make/sell good regulators - Parker, DeVilbiss, etc.
