I heard that the accuspray 10g is also one of the best spray guns for a turbine. I would still try the smallest aircap and needle. By any chance do you have a citation 4? You can always sell the 3m accuspray on ebay and get a sicmo clone.

By the way Darrel did Kwick Kleen go under?? I went to his website and it says it under ne management and nothing is for sale.

The tp tools would probably be one of the better ones. I still think you should try the .9 or 1.1 noeedle.

I here that about the Accuspray but I sure can't make it work. According to 3M I should be using the 1.5 tip it came with. I would buy a 1.3 (the smallest made for this gun) but at this point I have lost all faith in this gun. I sure wish I could find someone who has this same gun and talk with them. For all I know the gun could be defective or maybe I just don't know how to use it. Yes, my turbine is the Citation 4. I have been looking at some of those guns you posted. I wish there more people using turbines. Once I find someone who is using a particular set up that is working well for them I will probably buy that gun. Then i will know for sure if it is me or the equipment.
On these other guns you posted, I only see one adjustment on them? I am assuming it is for the pattern adjustment, not for the fluid control. So it is probably set for maximum flow?

That one control you see is the needle throw which controls fluid adjustment alone. Pattern control on any Sicmo gun or clone gun is controlled right at the spring loaded air cap. You can move the air cap in and out for pattern adjustment, then also grab it by the air horns and "click stop" it for fan vertical, fan horizontal, and fan circular. That was one of the biggest selling points for the novice shooter with the Sicmo design was its' simplicity of adjustment. And Apme is correct on TP tools changing up the original Sicmo gun design. It is supposed to be an improved gun.

Hey, Apme, yep, bummer.... Dave White did indeed sell Kwick Kleen to Flo Strip. All of us on that forum were given a short time to buy out his current inventories. I've been through this same situation with a half dozen vendors over the years so I ended up buying a year and a half worth of supplies. Got some good deals for Sicmo parts for my guns, too. Flo Strip told us they were going to be offering quite a bit of the Kwick Kleen products but we've seen no action and received no notice from them. I'd bought from them for 28 years and will sorely miss them.

This is what I currently have. I bought a .5mm air cap and 1.0mm needle/nozzle from TP tools it fits right onto my gun even though their proline is a Sicmo clone. Everything works great. I notice compared to a regular HVLP that turbines spray way different. From what I have seen Fuji, Apollo, American Turbine, TP tools, accuspray all recommend a smaller needle/nozzle .8mm-1.1mm and air cap for base and clear compared to a regular HVLP. Correction the apollo atomizer 7500 recommends a .5-.8mm needle/nozzle for clear. I don't spray super fast with my turbine but, the finish comes out pretty good very little if any peel.

Look here, I am telling you they make a .9 and a 1.1

Look at that chart and the Zahn cup measurements.

http://www.spraygunworld.com/Informatio ... 20Gun.html

Less then $60 bucks for Needle and Nozzle. The Auto setup there is .9 to 1.1 heck they even almost recommend a .8. click on the turbine and select the nozzle size. 1.5mm is an industrial for spraying Latex and Primers. Look at the NON-Gravity Fed 10 gun with turbine click where it says select size and you will see!!!! Notice the gravity fed can use a 1.3mm because it atomizes a bit better and is pressure fed. :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:

HOPE This helps. Like is said I would get a 1.1 or a .9 before I buy a new gun. The gun you have is a $400 dollar spray gun no need to change it just the nozzle.

This looks exactly like your gun. I would get a 1.1mm and be done with it. :0      :allgood: :allgood: :knockout: :goodpost:

By the way the needle nozzle kit on this website is $62 bucks
