My devilbus HVLP touch up gun has an 1.0 nozzle /tip.
Is the tip size usable for most paints and clear?
Noticed they recommend 1.3 or 1.4 most of the time on the tech sheets.
I this standard for most touch up guns ?

tech sheets are recommended specs for your normal full size gun. touch up guns are smaller with smaller spray pattern and will have smaller tip size. it will work fine for smaller jobs

You may need to reduce the clear to get it to atomize well.

My SRI Pro has a 1.0mm tip and I had no issues spraying SS metallic silver. Like others said you may have to reduce a tad. I did this mag in Endura EX-2C, which is a SS, urethane and they offered a clear coat (which is not typically used for SS) so I wanted to try it out as I never shot clear coat before.
