My local auto parts place is blowing out their inventory of Jet hand and power tools. 70% off. Jet appears to be a mid line brand in Canada. I don't think it is marketed in the US with the same name. (Not to be confused with jet wood working tools) Some of their hand tools are very high quality. (Side cutters, wire brush wheels) At retail I believe it to be quite pricey for what it is. At 70 % off it might be a deal and worth it. There are three items I am considering buying to add to my tool arsenal.
The sander:

DOes this look like a good design if you had one pneumatic sander. the price is $53 Cdn or about $43 USD.

next up is this spray gun. It is high pressure gravity feed. Is that appropriate for available paints and general purpose?

This is going for about $43 USD (Maybe the original retail price of $280 was a hoax)

they also have a spray gun that that is LVLP gravity feed for the same price.

I don't want to waste money on this stuff if it is not useful. I am a spray paint rookie. I have some car projects to paint small areas like my trunk and some under hood areas of the car, but are these worth buying?

Opinions are greatly appreciated. If I get some thumbs up, I will buy them in the morning if they are still there.

Thanks.

Spray gun looks like one of dozens of similar soured from alibaba. If country of origin is China or India I'd pass.

Thanks for the reply. Definitely Chinese made stuff. There is no country of origin marked on any of the Jet products though. I do think the hand tools I have bought are higher grade (maybe 1 notch above) the Chinese stuff we find on the shelves of our Big Box retailers in Canada. The National chain of Autoparts stores called Parts Source (owned by Canadian Tire) are getting rid of the line and are offering it at 70% off, so some nice deals to be had. I really like the feel of their ratchet handles.
