Sorry but I have not even heard of silver sealer. I know there is grey sealer but never heard of silver.

HOK makes it Mike.

Why do you want to use it? I've tried it but frankly, I've found no use for it and I shoot bikes weekly in custom and stock schemes. If you wanted to skip a step and shoot candy over it, it may be suitable for some jobs. Depending on the look you want, it may not be brilliant enough.

Really... That explains why I never heard of it or would use it. The price range for him is crazy and the affects can be achieved through the other brands. Don't get me wrong they have some quality stuff just doesn't fit my budget. Yes I have sprayed it when I did sign work for casino's but when I told them the prices for paint alone that only lasted so long lol.

I am working up a process for painting my bike. Right now I am looking at sealing in grey, applying a bright, coarse silver base coat over the whole thing, tape out graphics, spray black on one side of the tape, red on the other, then pull the tape off and reveal the silver. If the silver sealer is nice and bright it would eliminate a step and reduce materials cost. The silver sealer is about the same cost as grey.

So, how bright and coarse is the SS01 compared to Planet Color Super Silver?
