Hello everyone first post on the forum. I am a noob when it comes to painting, I have my whole air compressor setup with filtration system finished. I am now in the market to buy an air hose to run to my paint gun. There are so many different types, rubber, nylon, PVC, I was wondering what is the best to use I want 25ft 3/8. Are any of these better than others in terms of contamination getting into the paint. Should I have a filter at the end of my hose before my gun to ensure nothing gets into the paint? Thanks in advance!

I'm actually not even sure what my air hoses are made out of. I think the exterior is PVC. As long as you stick with a name brand you should be ok. Stay away from the junk you get at harbor freight or from flea markets.
No need for that filter at the gun; it's just something to annoy you and get in your way when painting. |

I use Flexzilla hoses and like them a lot.
Prices vary but I think Tractor Supply carries them also. http://www.farmandfleet.com/products/59 ... AnBX8P8HAQ 1968 Coronet R/T

Why are the H/F ones junk? I have the 50 foot reel with the hose it came with and I have no issues with it.
