Saw a vid on using spray able seam sealer as an under coat, like Lord Fusor 805 HD.

I'm going to get their 312 spray gun. I plan on using Duramix (now 3M) 2-part for sealing seams and may go over that with the sprayable stuff under the truck bed I'm doing. I like the durabability of 2 part products, but the texture appearance may be good at hiding patch panels.
The question is, how does their seam sealer compare/hold up to a regular undercoating with a good old Shutz gun?
I have also used 2 part truck bed liner stuff as an under coating in a wheel house in my dad's Silverrado which has held up well, but had cracking issues on my Toyota truck which has more flex and I'm in a colder climate.
Undercoating with seam sealer?
